41 Days!!

It is now 41 days until Eli arrives! Last Saturday was the big shower and we got tons and tons of stuff! I will post some pictures once I get them. We are getting more and more excited for his arrival and I've had a lot of fun going through all the cute clothes, washing them and putting them away.

Kent has been hard at work all week and today is his only day off! We might go to the movies and to eat since his 30th birthday is tomorrow. They leave for coaching school on his birthday!! I only have 3 short weeks until I go back to work, and then I'll work until Eli arrives.

Here is the football schedule for Rogers:
All games start at 7:30 and the home games are in Rogers.

8/29 Franklin
9/6 Coleman (@ Brownwood)
9/12 Bruceville-Eddy
9/19 @ Troy
10/3 Florence
10/10 @ Jarrell
10/17 Lexington
10/24 @ Lago Vista
10/31 Little River-Academy
11/7 @ Salado

If anyone wants to come to any games, let us know!

We've had a steady stream of lookers on the house, but no real bites yet. I go back to the doctor this Friday, and then once a week after that, so it's getting close! I'll post pictures soon.

Love,
Sarah, Kent & Eli

33 Weeks!

I am 33 weeks today! I had my doctor's appointment yesterday afternoon and everything is good! My belly measures at exactly 33 weeks and his heartbeat is 136-140. Tomorrow is the big shower at my house, so I'm looking forward to seeing everyone. We've had showings on the house every day this week, so that's been keeping me busy. I will post some more pictures soon. I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Pictures

Pictures from Eli's room! This is the dresser/changing table combo that we bought to match the crib. I painted the letters for his name and some stars to hang on the wall to match the colorful football bedding. When I first brought home the bouncy seat, Jackie decided that it would make a great dog bed!

Big Changes

Okay, so along with having a baby this year, we are also MOVING! Kent's brother, Jeff got a great job as the Athletic Director at a 2A school in a small town and they also hired Kent and I! So, we had to make a very, very tough decision and ultimately decided that it would be a good move. Kent is going to be coaching with his brother, which is something that they've always wanted to do together. I will be teaching high school science and Kent will be coaching and teaching as well! The school district is in Rogers, Texas. Rogers is about 12 miles south of Temple. We are excited about teaching in a small school and everyone there has been super nice to us!

We are putting our house in Round Rock on the market as of this Friday. We are very, very sad to be leaving it (it's our first house!) Our neighbors here are AWESOME, so we hate to leave them behind, too. We are hoping that it will sell and we can find a house in Temple before school starts. If it doesn't sell right away, we will make the commute until it does. I will be taking 12 weeks off anyway when Eli is born, so I can stay home and Kent will make the commute until we move. I am having some mixed emotions about everything, but it is also probably partly due to my pregnancy hormones! Once we get settled there, it will be a lot of fun. I can't wait to take Eli to his first football game, and we know there will always be lots of family at the games now that the brothers will be coaching together!

I will keep everyone updated on everything!

Love,
Sarah, Kent and Baby Eli
