Another new place!

We moved from Temple back to Round Rock on Saturday! We had lots of great help and were able to get everything here in one day and the Temple house cleaned. I still have lots of unpacking to do, which is hard with Hurricane Eli sweeping around the house. I don't have my job situation nailed down yet, which makes me a bit nervous, so I hope that gets taken care of soon. I've gone on two runs here in our new (old) neighborhood and the second one - without Eli and the jogging stroller was much easier! I am currently entertaining the idea of trying to train for a half marathon. The furthest race I've run is a 10K and I am ready to try something new, but don't think I'm quite ready to go for the full marathon this year. I'm going to aim for a half in early 2010 and then a full marathon in 2011. Kent is already working back at Round Rock and football season isn't too far off! We will have lots going on very soon. Eli is working on walking. He can take one or two steps and then falls down, but it seems like he gets a little more balanced every day. He says "Jackie" all the time. He just loves that dog! He even wakes up blabbering about Jackie.

Changes

In true Kent and Sarah style, we have a few things going on this summer. Kent was offered a job back at Round Rock High School. Although it was definitely the toughest decision I've seen him face, it really was an offer he couldn't refuse. So, we are moving! Again! For the third time in 8 months!! We had just moved from the apartment in Temple to a house at the beginning of June, and now we are moving back to Round Rock this weekend. We found a nice house to rent for a year in our old neighborhood. We also were in the process of selling Kent's truck and finding something bigger for Eli and I. We found an 08 Expedition and we love it!! So, now we are packing again and getting ready to start new jobs again, finding daycare for Eli and all that good stuff. It seems like we don't know how to just take one thing at a time! Everyone who knows us knows that last year was a crazy year, too! Well, I have a lot of packing to do before Saturday, so I'll post again next week.

Trip to the Frio River

For 4th of July weekend, we headed down to Concan. We rented a house right by the Frio River with Roy, Sherry, Kelsey, Roy Jr., Kala, Sam, Sami, Seth, Staci, Jett, Shauna, and Colton. We had so much fun even though there wasn't much water in the river. We did go down a time and just hung out in the water and saw some little fish. Mostly we cooled off in the "Cold" tub. This is a hot tub that had not been heated. Eli and Colton loved it! It was good to take a break and hang out with family. We did a lot of eating and just hanging out! Here are some pictures:
